B2B Sales Associate (Mandarin Speaking) — Tariff Recovery

Full-Time | Phoenix, AZ or Remote

We are seeking a Mandarin-speaking B2B Sales Associate to engage with U.S. importers of record who imported goods from China subject to IEEPA-based tariffs. This role is focused on outbound and inbound business-to-business outreach, educating importers on potential refund eligibility, and guiding them into StenTam’s managed recovery process. This is a consultative sales role—not a call-center position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and contact U.S. importers of record associated with China-origin shipments subject to IEEPA tariffs
  • Conduct outbound calls, emails, and virtual meetings in Mandarin and English with business principals and decision-makers
  • Explain, at a high level, the IEEPA tariff regime, potential refund eligibility, and StenTam’s managed recovery approach
  • Qualify prospects based on shipment history, importer-of-record status, and documentation availability
  • Coordinate closely with internal legal, operations, and case-management teams to transition qualified clients into onboarding
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach, conversations, and pipeline activity in CRM systems
  • Respond to inbound inquiries from Mandarin-speaking importers and overseas stakeholders (e.g., China-based suppliers or affiliates)
  • Stay current on developments related to IEEPA tariffs, litigation outcomes, and refund procedures
Qualifications
  • Native or near-native fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written)
  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or client advisory roles
  • Strong phone presence and ability to build credibility quickly with senior business contacts
  • Comfort discussing regulated or technical topics (tariffs, trade, compliance, refunds) at a business level
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing a high-volume outreach pipeline
  • Experience working with U.S.–China trade, logistics, sourcing, or import/export businesses is a strong plus
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience selling professional services (legal, tax, compliance, logistics, or financial services)
  • Familiarity with import/export documentation, importers of record, or customs processes
  • Experience working with Chinese-owned or Chinese-managed U.S. businesses
  • CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms)
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive base salary plus performance-based commissions
  • Opportunity to work on high-value, non-commodity transactions with sophisticated clients
  • Remote flexibility with structured support and training
  • Advancement opportunities as the Managed Tariff Refund Program scales
Why This Role

This is a rare opportunity to sit at the intersection of international trade, litigation-driven refunds, and high-trust B2B advisory sales. You will be helping importers recover significant sums while working alongside experienced legal and operational teams that handle the process end-to-end.
